My artwork is the result of one of those "one door closing and another door opening" kind of thing. In 2002 my career as a dental hygienist ended due to work related health issues. Soon after, my new life began at a near by dog training facility. Not having anything else to do I began sitting in on dog training workshops and taking my own dogs to classes and events. In 2006, a dear friend, knowing I love dogs and enjoyed drawing, gave me a book on drawing pets and a fantastic set of colored pencils.
