How can I get the best artwork of my pet?
If you do not have a photograph of your pet, then choose a time when you can play a little and find the expression you love the most. It is easier to have two people work together. One person uses treats and toys to get the happy face.The other person is free to take several pictures of the pet to capture the perfect moment. Usually if you let your pet smell the treat then give them a tiny bit, then hold it up and call their name you can get a good photo. Or you can just leave your camera out and then at just the right time you can catch the look you love without having to really work at it. Take your time and you will be greatly rewarded for your effort.
What does it cost?
When we both are happy with the results you can make your payment through PayPal. Upon receipt of your payment I will mail your pet portrait. I do not frame the drawing. Pricing begins at $150 with no color on the background. The addition of color to the background will be $25. The cost will go up for detailed backgrounds from $50 to $100.
Once I receive the photograph I will use Prismacolor colored pencils and a high quality paper to work with. I will protect the drawing with a fixative. I will scan a copy to you for your approval.
